Calligrams: Painting an Image with Words

Have you ever tried painting a picture with the use of actual words? Calligrams are visually arranged texts that form an image. The text can be a poem, a phrase, or a single word. Mercure de France published French poet Guillaume Apollinaire’s book Calligrammes shortly after Apollinaire’s death.
